UN Board of Regents to Vote on $867 Million Budget
(5-29-14) Friday, the University of Nebraska Board of Regents will vote on a 867 million dollar budget for the next two years. The amount is a 3.4 percent increase over the current two year budget. The budget to be approved includes money from the state treasury and from tuition income, and doesn't include items such as research grants or gifts from the NU Foundation. Once approved, the budget will cover a two year period beginning in July. The Regents will also set Tuition and Room and Board charges for the coming year.
