May 16 Frost Damages Strawberry, Grape Harvests

The May 16 frost has nearly wiped out the entire strawberry crop at Roca Berry Farm.  Owner, Beverly Schaefer, tells our television partner, 10/11 NEWS an acre of land that usually serves up about 10,000 pounds of strawberries may only produce a few hundred pounds.  Grapes don't like late frost, either.  Josh Rockemann at James Arthur Vineyards says it could be a month until they know how extensive the loss will be.
