Unwanted Emerald Ash Borer Can Travel on Foreign Firewood

During this long Memorial Day weekend, if you're camping, don't burn wood from outside the state.  The Game and Parks Commission is targeting the emerald ash borer, a beetle native to Asia which has killed millions of ash trees since first detected in Michigan in 2002.  It travels on firewood and right now is near Creston, Iowa, less than 100 miles from the Missouri River and Nebraska to the west.
