Lincoln Man Attacked, Robbed

LINCOLN -- Four men are wanted after they attacked a 44-year-old man, who was giving them a ride to a store early Monday morning.  Lincoln Police Officer Katie Flood says the victim gave his friend and three other men a ride when they started to insult him.  He decided to pull over into a convenience store lot near 27th and "E" to call police.  The four men got out an attacked him, ultimately leading to one of them getting to the man's car to take off, backing over him and breaking his leg.  The car was later found at 21st and "F" Streets.  Descriptions of all four vary according to Officer Flood, but she says they are described as black males.  The victim was taken to a Lincoln hospital, where he underwent surgery to fix his broken leg.
