Arrest Made in Peter Pan Park Murder



LaRon BranchLincoln, NE -- Lincoln Police are still investigating the city's first homicide of 2014 that happened last month, but have made some headway in making one arrest.   Over the weekend, Police tracked down and arrested 30-year-old LaRon Branch of Omaha on suspicion of manslaughter and use of a weapon to commit a felony in the death of 27-year-old Jarvis Long.   Police told KFOR News earlier today (Monday) their investigation continues and would not release any more details at this time.   Long's body was found January 16th in the southwest portion of Peter Pan Park, just west of 33rd and "X" Streets.
