Bruning Resting After Surgery To Remove Colon Cancer
LINCOLN -- Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning is resting comfortably, a day after having surgery to remove an eight-inch section of his colon. In a prepared statement, the AGs Office says the procedure was completed without any complications...lab results are expected next week. Bruning underwent surgery Thursday to remove a portion of his colon and surrounding lymph nodes after being diagnosed last month with a malignant colon polyp. He expects to be in the hospital for four to seven days.
