LINCOLN -- A Lincoln woman's purse was taken early Wednesday morning by two men who broke into an apartment at 33rd and Highway 2. The 63 year old woman told Police she was awoken when she heard two loud bangs. A man with a gun turned on her bedroom light. He demanded money, the second man took her purse, and they both left. Ironically, Police officer Katie Flood said they may have broken into the wrong apartment. A neighbor told police they saw two men leaving the apartment building in a small gold car believed to be a Toyota. The gunman was described as about 5-foot-11, average build, with broad shoulders. The second man was described as similar.
