Time To Think About Getting A Flu Shot

LINCOLN -- The flu season typically runs from October to April, peaking typically in January or February.  Not to early to be thinking about getting a flu shot.  The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department recommends everyone from six months to 106 years of age get a flu vaccine this year.  It's especially important for people at high risk of developing serious complications like pneumonia if they get the flu.  The Health Department will provide flu vaccine to low-income, uninsured adults and certain uninsured children beginning Monday.
