Rollover Crash Near Waverly Injures Three

WAVERLY, Neb. -- Arial">A 12-year-old was thrown out and the driver pinned while three others were injured in a rollover crash around 1:30am Monday at the on-ramp of the weigh station along Interstate 80 near Waverly. The driver of the vehicle, 29-year-old Magda Lorenzo of Pomona, Calif., a front seat passenger Enrique O. Lorenzo, 31, Pomona, Calif., and their 12-year old son, Enrique J. Lorenzo were taken to Bryan-West in Lincoln with non-life threatening injuries. Two other children in the vehicle an 8-year old girl and an 8 month old boy were not injured. It appears the driver lost control and went off the road and rolled in the north ditch before the SUV landed on its side.
