Hazmat Crews Find Powdery Substance At Lincoln's Homeland Security Offices

LINCOLN -- Hazardous Materials crews were dispatched to the Homeland Security Department offices in downtown Lincoln, after powder was found in an envelope. Around 11pm Monday, a worker discovered the powder when handling mail. LFR Battalion Chief Tim Linke says the worker isolated the envelope in a bag and called authorities. Early tests show show the powder could be a kind of detergent.
