Storms Bring Needed Rain

LINCOLN -- Welcome rain over the weekend in Lincoln, but it wasn't enough to pull us back to normal for the month. Barb Mayes with the National Weather Service tells KFOR News Lincoln is about 0.20" below normal for May, but for the year Lincoln is just over one inch above normal. Some parts of southeast Nebraska received almost one inch of healthy rain. Some parts also were hit by 60 to 70 mile an hour winds, knocking down trees, limbs and causing structural damage.
