Officer Clocks Driver at 103 in 35 MPH Zone



Police have cited a 24-year-old man and are looking for another, after two cars were clocked for speeding overnight in southeast Lincoln. Officer Katie Flood says two cars appeared to be racing each other, when one of them was clocked going 103 mph in a 35 mph zone along South 56th Street just south of Normal Boulevard. One of the drivers, 24-year-old Charles Ralston, was contacted and cited for speeding and engaging in a speeding contest. Police are looking for the other driver, who managed to get away on foot.
